Dr. Li Gexin

Robert Li, [born 1954], the director of Shanghai Run He Law Firm, is a graduate of the Foreign Language Department of East China Teacher’s University [1980], and received his Master of Law from the East China Institute of Polities and Law [1988]. In 1993, Mr. Li earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law, a well-respected law school in the Pacific Northwest of the Untied States.

Mr. Li is proficient in both written and spoken English. Upon graduation from law school in America, Mr. Li worked as an associate attorney at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Law Office from 1993-1995. He provided legal service to a variety of European, Chinese, and US companies. In 1994, Mr. Li served as an expert witness in Australia testifying on various Chinese commercial law matters in front of the Victoria Supreme Court. In 1995, Vivien Chan & Co., a Hong Kong law firm, employed him as In-house Counsel assisting with PRC Law matters. In late 1995, Mr. Li returned to Shanghai to further develop Shanghai Run He Law Firm.
